Heather Lane’s physical therapy services treat a wide range of injuries – from shoulder and neck injuries, back strains, hips, knees, ankles, and much more. Physical Therapy treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment of your movement patterns, pain sources, and restrictions. These conclusions determine the best course of action to get you back in action.
Functional Dry Needling
Dry Needling is the insertion of fine needles into muscular trigger points (painful “knots” in muscle) to stimulate a healing response in painful musculoskeletal conditions. Muscles in stress tend to be overactive or under active so dry needling is an excellent tool to maintain a muscle’s balance. A muscle in balance leads to healthy movement. Performing this procedure requires an advanced certification and can be included within your treatment or purchased as an additional 30-minute session.
